When you donate your olive tree with the Sadaqah Jariyah Foundation, we don’t simply provide seeds to farmers, we help deliver healthy trees – around 1.6 to 2 metres in height and at least 3 years old, that are already producing fruit. We help the farmers to plant their trees, and support them along the way.

Working in partnership with Human Appeal, your tree will be given to a farming family most in need, wherever they may be. One country we continue to work in is Palestine, where 80,000 families rely on olive trees them as their main livelihood, but they represent more than just an income.

Each farming family that we help will receive 30-40 trees, supporting their livelihood of growing and selling olives for profit. An average mature olive tree produces 15 to 20 kilograms of olives per year.
