Thank you for sponsoring an orphan through the Springs of Hope programme. May Allah reward you for all of your efforts and grant you Jannah.
With over 130 million orphans worldwide, SKT Welfare set up the Springs of Hope programme to ensure orphans are supported with the basic necessities that we may take for granted. As well as this, the Springs of Hope programme helps assist widowed mothers with their recovery, so they can raise their children with the best guidance possible.
What are ‘Springs of Hope’?
The Springs of Hope programme provides a safe-space for Syrian widows to live with their children, ensuring Syrian orphans can develop under the loving care of their own mothers. We offer food, shelter, and all other necessities to Syrian refugee families in Turkey.
Including this, they offer psycho-socio support to help heal widows and orphans from the trauma they have experienced in their war-torn homelands, as well as skills training and lessons in Turkish, to help the widows grow independence.

The ongoing conflict in Syria has uprooted half of the country’s population, mostly consisting of vulnerable children. Many of these have lost at least one or more family members at such a tender young age.
However, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to support these children and their widowed mothers. The orphaned children are provided a safe environment to live in, while receiving the best quality education and healthcare.
The centre is equipped with separate living spaces, a communal eating space, kitchens, classrooms and a playground. Social support is provided to these widows and children to ensure they are able to make a swift and a thorough recovery.
The Messenger of Allah said: ” I and the sponsor of an orphan shall be in Paradise like these two.” And he indicated with his fingers, meaning his index and his middle finger
